Nashawn is a graduate from the University of Namibia (UNAM) with Honours of a Bachelors of Arts Honours degree in Media Studies having specialized in Public Relations and Drama. He wishes to go on to do his Masters in Media Studies in the near future.
In his spare time, Nashawn sings, dances and is a freelance print journalist, part-time bartender and is an actor. He has a role in Namibia’s first ever feature film, ‘Katutura’ – the movie which went as far as being screened at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles, California in February 2016.
Nashawn landed his first broadcasting job as a co-presenter of a kids’ programme at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) in 2005. He then went on to complete high school, got admitted at UNAM in 2011 and started anchoring various shows at university’s main campus radio station.
He then joined the Energy 100FM team in 2015 and is currently the station’s Communications Officer while anchoring the drive time show, the Urban Drive which runs from Mondays to Fridays from 14:00 to 17:00 and the Saturday Breakfast show from 06:00 to 10:00.
In 2019, he was the recipient of the “Favourite Male Radio Personality” at the SimplyYou Magazine, Lifestyle & Fashion Awards by public choice.
Recipient of the “Favourite Female Radio Personality” award at the SimplyYou Magazine Lifestyle & Fashion Awards 2018, Master of Ceremonies as well as the host and co-director of the Energy 100FM High School Debate Competition, Chante is also a political science student.
She first started out at a community radio station before joining Energy 100FM in 2015. She takes from the drives and energies of Ryan Seacrest and Taffy Raw, with the former’s effortless delivery and the latter’s edge and originality.
Her future plans are to carve out a career in International Relations with radio remaining her number one love.

Born and raised in Namibia’s capital city, Dazzle (also known as Prince D) started a career in the entertainment industry as a choreographer and back-up dancer being inspired by Wade Robson. After high school, he ventured into the television industry hosting music show “Whatagwan” on the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC). He highlights Lungile “Lungsta” Radu as his inspiration on the big screens. Dazzle soon moved on to radio where he worked for the community radio station for 3 years before joining the Energy 100FM team in 2014 and he has never looked back since. Dazzle is also in the fields of entrepreneurship and artist management.
Born Elsabe Tibinyane in Namibia’s capital, Elsabe is passionate about women’s issues and human rights. She is never afraid to raise her concern or opinion about issues of such caliber and also politics. Sometimes referred to as a feminist, she prefers to be called a Human Rights vocalist. She has been a great part of the NGO and civil rights sector in Namibia for many years before joining the media fraternity.
Elsabe’s career in the radio industry started in 2014 as a current affairs show presenter at a community radio station. She joined Energy 100FM in 2016 and is currently heading the current affairs and news department.

Having started out in the radio industry at the University of Namibia (UNAM’s) main campus radio station, Smoothie4Sho is also an IT enthusiast who obtained a master’s degree in Computer Science from University of South Africa and currently a PHD candidate.
Smoothie4Sho‘s dream as a child was to become a professional soccer player or engineer but fate had other ideas. His love for entertainment began as far back as the 90s in high school. He first found his feet in radio while taking notes from the late Eddie Zondi. Though he only joined Energy 100FM in 2014, he is credited to be one of the pioneers of UNAM’s radio station early 2000s. In the pro ranks, he fondly recalls sharing the stage with the late Namibian darling, Nancy Muinjo aka ChiChi for the //Ae /Gams Art and Cultural Festival in 2005.
Even though he is known to be a sucker for R&B and soul jams on Energy 100 FM, he is a hip-hop fan. When not on the radio, he loves watching football, mixing on turntables at parties and catching up on what is trending in technology.
DJ Jan, also known as “Die Lanie Van Die Kasie” is a professionally and qualified disk jockey with over 20 years of experience.
DJ Jan was lucky enough to land his job as a DJ at Jacqueline’s Super Club in 1995 (The oldest running brand night club in South Africa). He’s also worked for one of the most popular radio stations in Namibia’s neighbour, 5FM.
He says that if he could do half the work Roger Goode does on his shows, he would be a millionaire! He admires DJ Fresh who he has worked with as well.
DJ Jan is currently a production technician and anchors 1 show – the Turn it Up Show which airs on Saturdays from 20:00 to 00:00.

Phillip started working for the Power Station about 12 years ago and has been one of the hosts of the Sports Cafe show since 2013 – as it was known.
Growing up, Phillip liked watching and playing sports from football to boxing, etc. which is why he jumped on the opportunity to present one of the biggest sports shows in Namibia. He is constantly inspired by the greatest household names – not only in Namibia but from all over the world.
The Sports Cafe (now with the fusion of Onyika since 2019 renamed to Onyika Cafe) runs between Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00.
Zikii is a Radio Production Technician who holds a College of the Arts diploma in Radio Production obtained in 2016. A presenter who started off as a news anchor while co-hosting prime time shows, she now hosts the Love Zone on Sundays from 20:00 to 00:00. Apart from the radio business, Zikii is a professional singer and songwriter with one album #SpreadTheLove released and named 2020 RMB Song Night Brand Ambassador – one of the biggest platforms in Namibia that gives new and rising music talents a stage to perform.
A multi-talented creative, if she isn’t at work, she’s most likely in a studio working on her music, fashion designing, planning events, face painting, busy with charity work or somewhere on a stage performing.
Zikii says she is humbled to get her first job at Energy100 right after graduation within the field she studied as not a lot of people are as fortunate.

Joviita has been part of the Energy 100FM team since 2018 as host (and currently hosting) Onyika Café which was formally known as the Sports Café.
She is passionate about sports and has the desire to change the sport climate in the country through sports. Rugby, Football and Cricket are amongst her top favourite sports.
Hailing from Rundu, Namibia. DJ Paulo Jordan is a pure African of Namibian and Angolan ancestry born in the 1970s. He got into the entertainment business in 1988 with his first big gig being a wedding in 1993 were he was paid R300 (300 Namibia Dollars). From then on, work kept coming ultimately landing him a slot to host the Kizomba Show which he created in 1998 on Energy 100FM.
As of 2019, the show got renamed to the Music Explosion show and not only focuses on Kizomba music, but accommodates all other genres.
DJ Paulo Jordan is one of the resident disk jockeys at a popular hangout spot in the nation’s capital city.
Catch DJ Paulo Jordan, who balances his radio career with being professional basketball player and his role as a father, on the Music Explosion show every Saturday from 16:00 to 20:00

Dr Kagiso Moloi also know as “KG” started working in the radio business in 2004 and joined Energy in 2014 where he hosted a Jazz show Sunday Fusion which later became “Urban Jazz Grooves with Dr Kagiso Moloi” which airs every Sunday from 14:00 to 16:00. He also hosts “Breakfast Health with Dr Kagiso Moloi” every Thusrday morning at 07:30 to 08:00 – a segment on Breakfast 100.
Joseph is a Journalism and Media Technology student at the Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST) who started working at Energy100FM IN 2018 hosting the popular Onyika – The Taste of Africa which has (since 2019) been merged with the Sports Café to form “Onyika Café and airs Mondays to Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00.
Educating, Entertaining, disclosing information and standing in as people’s voice is what inspired Joseph to study Journalism and work for a radio station.
