Palace sign striker Sorloth on deadline day

Crystal Palace have signed striker Alexander Sorloth from Denmark's Midtjylland on a four-and-a-half-year contract on transfer deadline day, increasing competition for their misfiring Belgium target man Christian Benteke.

Sorloth has scored 15 goals in 26 games this season, while Benteke has managed only two so far, including the opener in Palace's 1-1 draw at West Ham United on Tuesday.

Ander Herrera claims Alexis Sanchez's fighting spirit has already ignited Manchester United as the Chile forward prepares to make his Premier League debut for his new club at Tottenham on Wednesday.

Sanchez is the highest paid player in the Premier League after making a blockbuster move to United from Spurs' local rivals Arsenal last week.

The 29-year-old marked his debut by setting up two goals in United's 4-0 beating of minnows Yeovil in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday.

Joost van der Westhuizen's brother Pieter says the "full truth" about Amor Vittone, the late Joost's estranged wife, will come out in court.

In the midst of a drawn-out court battle between him and the 45-year old singer over the late Bok hero's estate, Pieter (48) has spoken out in response to a report on Netwerk24 where parts of the court documents were published.

Among the documents is an email in which Pieter says that it would be "unpleasant" to have Amor at Joost's private funeral.

Speaking exclusively to Nampa via various social media applications, the players congratulated the team, offering their support while lauding the good work done by the technical team.

Benson Shilongo, who recently signed with Egyptian team Alassiouty Sport, told this press agency that the team must finish what they started.
